Kevin Rudd and Israel

Upon reading the news on the motion by Rudd to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Israel and the strong support from the opposition leader, my plan to visit Australia crashed. Completely. Australia can wait. Rudd may go. May be soon. Bob Hawke with his more severe appearance was indeed more rational that the mellow-looking but heartless Rudd. This time my intuition went astray. Need special glasses.

McCain and Iraq

If McCain truly believe that the war in Iraq can be won by 2013 and if he were to be elected this November......
1. the democracy practised is questionable - let's not question their compassion
2. tell me who is the biggest contributor to environmental destruction
3. ....and murder

But the fact that he is still receiving strong support despite condoning heartless interrogation procedure for instance, and the fact that his party kind of backed by the the middle class, we can just scrap off the first deduction.

Should we still send our people to further their studies in that country?
Should we have so much of their TV programmes aired?
Can't they have someone else? Are others even worse?

Observatory

The climate was harsh. Under the glaring sun, the soil was well baked but that did not deter the thriving organisms from procreating. I will let you wonder...

Clouds

I was inspired by the cloud watchers. It was in the spur of the moment thing. In the midst of trying to capture leeches, I was drawn by the beauty of images of clouds reflected by the super calm water surface. cirrus nimbus?
